Verizon Heritage PGA Tournament

Brandon and the girls spent a day at the Verizion Heritage at HarbourTown golf links. They spent time gaining autographs and meeting with various golfers. Anna had one stint where she ran onto the fairway on the 17th. After a little negotiation she came back to the bleachers. Overall, the weather was beautiful and the golf was good.

Anna meets with Boo Weekley - former Verizon Heritage champion.

The first two weeks with Elaine "Ellie" Marie

The first two weeks with Ellie have been packed full of exciting adventures and wonderful memories. She is such a doll. As you can see in the above picture Ellie is hardly without someone holding her, kissing her, patting her, and sometimes smothering her...But she loves it all.
The girls are doing wonderfully with Ellie; they help out a lot and are my runners (up the stairs) for many items. The above picture was taken today, post kool-aid...notice the red mustaches?
We were so fortunate to have Grandma Lou visit us. We took advantage of the time to visit the beach last Sunday between conference sessions. This was also Katelyn's 7th Birthday! Happy Birthday to my oldest baby...(still can't believe she's 7!!!)

We took Grandma to see Harbour Town--this coming week you can see Harbour Town on TV during the Verizon Heritage Golf Tournament. Look for Brandon and Katelyn also, they are planning on going either Wednesday or Saturday. We contemplated also sending Anna but figured if Brandon took Anna you'd for sure see them on TV, because Anna would be retrieving every golf ball for daddy's collection...she can run fast!

Grandma was such a great sport while she was here. After she fell the day Ellie was born she felt horrible but still did so much. When she returned home to Utah and saw her regular physician, they re-read the X-Rays and discovered she has two BROKEN RIBS. Feel better soon Grandma!!

We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful daughters. These pictures were taken today (Easter Sunday). On this Easter I am particularly thankful for the resurrection of our Savior, because these 3 girls you see are ours for eternity!!! What an incredible blessing.

This is Ellie's first trip to the beach. She was 10 days old and slept the whole time. She'll have many more visits in her future! I'm sure she'll be a regular beach bum like the rest of us.

So Precious!

Our Sweet Ellie Marie...Easter 2009

Words cannot express what a wonderful husband and father Brandon is. You can sense a small part of his incredible talent as a father in this picture of him with Ellie. He is so caring, so sweet and so loving to all his girls, me included. I know I could not live my life without him. He is the love of my life.
I have to continue to brag on him because yesterday he took Katelyn and Anna to Island Playground, out to lunch, to his haircut, on a much needed shoe shopping trip and then returned home and watched all 3 girls for 2 hours so I could get the grocery shopping done. He is truly amazing! I love him so much!

And here is Anna and her "baby Ells" She no longer refers to the baby as Ellie, she is just "baby Ells." Katelyn has preferred to call her "Ellie" at home, but whenever she writes in her journal at school or home she calls her "Elaine." I just call her whichever of the girls names comes out first, whether it be, "Anna, Ellie, or Katelyn." I swore I'd never do that to my children..sorry girls!

Fresh From The Oven!!

We are so happy to announce the arrival of our newest baby girl. She was born at 8:30am this morning and weighed in at a whopping 7lbs 2ozs and 19 in long. She is our smallest baby, Katelyn was 8lbs 2ozs and Anna was 8lbs 8ozs. She is very healthy and is loving all the attention she is receiving from her two big sisters.

Anna is doing well, she is so excited to always touch the baby and wants to constantly kiss her all over. Katelyn is currently sitting in the chair holding the baby, she's been there for over an hour. I think her arms might be tired! She is so sweet telling us about all the movements the baby is making. She is such a great big sister We appreciate all the prayers and thoughts for our family.

I (liz) am feeling really well. The surgery went off without a hitch, we feel very blessed. The birth certificate has not been completed yet but the name will be Elaine or Ellie Marie Weilenmann.

A much needed update

Well I've once again slipped into the black hole of no blogging. I just need to get back in the routine of posting regularly...oh wait! I've never been there. Any suggestions on how you all do such a great job of update would be greatly appreciated.

So I'm curious...what are all of your favorite girl names? We think we have one in mind, but I like to be fully informed before I make such a HUGE decision.

We are scheduled for a c-section (yes such a lovely thought) on March 27th @ 8am. We are blessed to have Grandma Lou coming for 2 weeks to be with the girls and help me get back on my feet. We are so excited for the baby to arrive and can't believe we have a little less than 6 weeks until she comes.

I am busy finishing up a class and playing room mom and YW's President. Somedays it feels like a ton to carry, but I am so grateful for the experiences I am growing from each and every day.

This year the YW General Presidency asked the YW and the leaders to do 3 things and I think they apply universally to all so I'm going to pass along the challenge to those who read this...

1. Pray morning and night
2. Read 5 mins in the Book of Mormon each day
3. Smile!!

I just love the 3 things. I am trying to do them everyday and the days I score 100% I feel like a different person. Give it a try!

Well I'll try to get some pictures updated soon.

Have a wonderful Happy Valentines!!!!

Christmas on Hilton Head

Christmas is always a little different without extended family around to spend time with, but we filled our day with lots of family bonding and fun.
On Christmas Eve Katelyn was so excited she could not fall asleep, it was 12:30 am when she finally dozed off. Needless to say Brandon and I got to bed much later. Then wouldn't you know it, around 5 am Anna woke up and despite our best efforts to coax her back to sleep she showed up in our room around 6 fully dressed. At that point, being pregnant, slightly grumpy and very tired I retreated to the guest room and left Brandon to take care of Anna. (thank you!)
Thankfully with a "snuggle buggle" Anna was able to fall back to sleep and we ended up getting more rest than we originally thought we would.
Christmas morning was so much fun. The girls had a great time opening and playing with each present. We had a nice breakfast casserole and listened to favorite Christmas songs. Without family close by we've started the tradition of going to a Christmas day buffet (much easier on me!). So later that day we headed out to the buffet, it was delicious. I think Anna and Katelyn ate more dessert than actual food, but hey, it's Christmas. After the lunch we walked out to the beach. It was 75 degrees here in Hilton Head, beautiful beach weather.

The girls were dressed in their Christmas dresses for the lunch and wore them to the beach. They had a great time! We even ran in the water, it was COLD.

When you don't have snow you compromise. The girls made snow, I mean SAND angels and even engaged in a snowball, whoops, Sand fight. Just like being in Utah, but not quite as cold or wet.

It was so nice and warm out on the beach, I wished I had my shorts.

This sign is a tradition as well. We took their picture by it last year. This year they really hammed it up.

Christmas Eve excitement

All of our loved ones were in our thoughts and prayers on Christmas Day. We hope you all had a truly blessed season and that you felt the light and love of our Savior on this day of celebration of His life and His birth and His ministry.

I loved what Elder Uchtdorf said in the First Presidency Christmas Devotional about light. He said when he sees the lights of Christmas he remembers the light the Savior is to the world. The lights I saw this Christmas Season took on that same meaning. May the lights of the coming year continue to serve as the same reminder for all of us...

Merry Christmas!!!!

Anna's Ladybug Birthday

Anna had a wonderful party this year. The cake was quite the effort, well not so much the cake, more the tinting of the frosting. So instead of a nice deep red ladybug, we had a flamming flouresant pink one. And believe me, that icing had it's fair share of food coloring...
